In this study, we studied the effect of finasteride (5-hydroxydopamine) on the growth and viability of human prostate cancer tissue, by using a cell-specific prostate cancer cell line ( DU145). We also determined the effect of finasteride on the proliferation of prostate cancer cells. We found that finasteride did not affect the viability of prostate cancer cells. The data showed that finasteride does not affect the growth of prostate cancer cells. However, finasteride did significantly increase the viability of prostate cancer cells, and increased the number of viable cells. This suggests that finasteride was able to reduce prostate cancer cell growth by reducing the viability of prostate cancer cells. Our study showed that finasteride can affect the growth of prostate cancer cells, which may be attributed to the enhanced levels of the cell cycle regulators, such as p53 and G2/M.

The development of novel drug delivery systems (CDSs) is a key step in the treatment of prostate cancer. The production of CDSs depends on the drug concentration and the presence of drugs, and the drug concentration can be controlled by various factors, such as the time of drug administration, the time for the drug to reach the target site, and the dose of the drug, as well as other factors. The development of CDSs for prostate cancer treatment is also a matter of concern because of the increasing evidence showing that the cancer cells can be killed by the CDSs in the presence of the drug. It is well known that cancer cells are resistant to the CDSs, and therefore the treatment of prostate cancer with the CDSs is not a viable option.
It has been reported that the effect of finasteride on prostate cancer cell proliferation is not affected by finasteride treatment. Finasteride has been reported to inhibit the growth of prostate cancer cells by reducing the levels of the cell cycle inhibitors p53 and p19. However, it has not been shown to affect the growth of prostate cancer cells by increasing the number of cells. The main aim of this study was to examine the effect of finasteride on the viability of prostate cancer cells. The study was conducted by using DU145 (human prostate cancer cell line) and PSA (prostate-specific antigen) cell lines. The DU145 cells were cultured in high-glucose Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM), supplemented with 5% fetal bovine serum (FBS), 100 U/ml penicillin and streptomycin (Gibco, Grand Island, NY, USA), and finasteride (5-hydroxydopamine) was purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). The cells were cultured in RPMI 1640 medium (HyClone, Walkersville, MD, USA), which was supplemented with 10% FBS, 100 U/ml penicillin and streptomycin.
Living with noticeable hair loss is no longer to be expected due to the incredible developments that have been made in the treatment of men’s hair loss. With the introduction of Propecia, generic name Finasteride, it is now possible to stop or slow down the progression of hair loss in the majority of men who use it.
Fifty percent of all men experience male-patterned baldness; the most common type of hair loss beginning around the age of thirty.
It generally starts as a receding hairline; a thinning of hair on the crown and temples; resulting in a U-shape pattern around the head. In some rare cases, a male may end up completely bald.
The condition is genetic; caused by an abundance of the male hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which causes the hair follicles to become weak and eventually inactive, resulting in a lack of hair re-growth. This process can take decades, so if you have experienced rapid hair loss (under a year) or scalp irritation causing bald patches, you should seek medical advice from your GP to ensure there are no underlying thyroid conditions or other reasons for the condition.
One of the most effective treatments for general hair loss is finasteride, which prevents further hair loss and increases hair growth.
Approximately 40% of men who experience hair loss from the frontal hairline topically once daily take finasterideSigns of male-pattern baldness include noticeable loss of hair, increased incidence of hair thinning and a reduction in the size of of of the head. These'male-patterned baldness'hair loss is known as male pattern hair loss'or 'androgenetic alopecia'Men having male-pattern baldness often have the most sensitive and visible hair loss, while the most sighted and mood-related are the men who have the strongest hair loss.
Approximately with frequency, 5-10% of men who take finasteride as a hair loss treatment also experience an enlarged prostate, which is a medical picture that must be considered when treating patients with prostate cancer. The prostate act as the main source of urinary outflow from the stomach, and the effect of finasteride can be delayed compared to the outflow from the prostate.
Dutoprim (apaprazole) is an antibiotic drug used to treat many different infections; the use of apaprazole is not recommended in men who suffer from those infections.
Dutoprim is not recommended for women; finasteride is not used to treat or prevent pregnancy; concomitant use of dutoprim and Propecia; any other medical conditions.
Dutoprim should not be used by men under the age of thirty; however, it should be used when the risk of severe DHT-related prostate disorders is very high. In fact, the FDA (the UK’s regulatory agency) said that it was unlikely that a single dose of dutoprim would increase your risk of developing a medical condition associated with DHT.
Propecia and dutoprim are not approved for the treatment of men with type 2 diabetes; therefore, they should not be used by men who suffer from both. Similarly, propecia should not be used by men who suffer from both diabetes and and and and and androgenic alopecia.
No medication works faster than dutoprim by any other means. While finasteride is not expected to work faster, the potential that these drug interactions could have on the medication is still important information to watch for.

Finasteride contains Finasteride, which works by blocking the action of male hormones that cause prostate enlargement and hair loss. Thereby, it helps treat BPH and male pattern hair loss.
In some cases, Finasteride may cause low sexual desire, impotence (erectile dysfunction), abnormal ejaculation, or trouble having an orgasm. Most of these side effects of Finasteride may not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Do not take Finasteride if you are allergic to any of its components. Finasteride is not intended for use in women and children. Keep the doctor informed about your health condition and medications to rule out any side effects/interactions.
Treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) and male pattern hair loss.
Finasteride belongs to a class of medicines called 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) in men with enlarged prostate. It also may decrease the need for prostate surgery. Additionally, it is also used to treat male pattern hair loss. Finasteride works by blocking the action of male hormones that cause the prostate to enlarge and hair loss.
• Finasteride can be taken with or without food. • It is usually taken once daily at the same time each day or as prescribed by your doctor. • Swallow Finasteride as a whole with a glass of water. • Do not crush, chew, or break it.
